We have started establishing linkage and association populations during Spring 2008- at two field sites: Ithaca, NY and Arlington,WI
By Spring 2009 our plants started emerging. You can see from the aerial picture that Reed Canarygrass (on the right) established and flowered faster than Switchgrass (on the left) in our upstate NY site.
By August, the fields were looking lush green and Switchgrass had caught up with the Reed Canarygrass...
